BIGFAKE	my good friend Adeline!!! she's so cool! she does music, streams, and hosts an annual music festival for charity, Do Better Fest.
Kite's Solace	a peaceful realm, reminiscent of cool mist from a waterfall... very cool OCs too!
wavebeem	lots of useful tools, including a Pokémon type calculator, CSS color contrast checkers for accessibility, and more!
Pixel Glade	lovely PC-98 inspired pixel art, illustrations, blog posts, and even some recipes!
taptroupe	lots of archived scans from the PS2/Gamecube era, with a focus on early 2000s Fromsoft RPGs. Alayna's art is cute too!

GifCities	an archive of gifs collected from old geocities webpages, complete with archived links to their original sources.
Wiby	a search engine focused on simple, noncommercial websites and retro aesthetics. good for uncovering old websites.
Marginalia	a search engine that's great for discovering websites focusing on niche subjects.
Internet Archive	The Internet Archive is most known for the Wayback Machine, allowing users to access defunct websites from years past. but did you know they have a huge library of free books and software, too? i go through their collections a lot!

sadgrl.online Webmaster Links	incredible wealth of resources for beginner and hobbyist website creators. she has a lot of how-to guides, too.
The HTML Hobbyist	essentially a digital textbook for learning the basics of HTML/CSS, with a focus on making hobbyist websites to reclaim the web.
Zonelets	a blogging template for use on your webpages. includes a very helpful step-by-step guide and premade themes!
MDN Web Docs	searchable documentation for web development. VERY useful for looking up how specific properties work and what functions they're capable of.
CodePen	preview your HTML/CSS/javascript in real time, and test out your site ideas! you can link your WIPs or code demos to other people, too, so it can be useful to share and test.

Krita	a free, open-source, multiplatform art program. very powerful and capable! includes a very in-depth user manual going over the program's functions, along with digital art tutorials.
FireAlpaca	free, and lightweight art program. less tools than Krita, but it's low on system resources, and is still quite capable. i'd say the tools are better for more cartoony digital art, and not as much for painting.
Aseprite	costs $20 USD, but it's a one-time purchase, and it's completely worth it if you're interested in pixel art. great for editing gifs, too.
